Kim Benson

New to Tucson, Kim was looking for an opportunity to get involved in the community. "I found Girls Inc. on the Volunteer Center of Tucson web site...There is a big world out there full of exciting, interesting and beautiful things. I want girls to be able to see past the boundaries that are set up for them and go out and do big things."

Cynthia Flores-Ybarra

Formerly with Girls Inc. of Denver, Cynthia relocated back home to the Tucson area and connected with our newer affiliate upon landing. Cynthia brings a wealth of first-hand experience in working with girls to our chapter. Cynthia has been active in helping our newly formed committees target the Latina population. Cynthia was guest speaker at the Sunnyside School Media Night in March 2006 and again addressed participants at the Celebration Breakfast held in October 2007.

Her program experience and enthusiasm in helping us reach girls in the Tucson/Pima County area has energized our team and taken our non-profit forward.
