VOLUNTEER PROFILES

Jenny (at left) with Facilitator Martha O’Neill and girls from Living Safe & Strongsm

Jenny Gremer

"I am a biologist that recently relocated from Missoula, MT, and was looking for an opportunity to get involved in the Tucson community.  I had worked with a similar program in Missoula, Girls Using Their Strengths (GUTS), and was excited to connect with Girls, Inc. here in town.  I believe that building relationships with peers and mentors in these programs encourages young women to develop and nurture healthy, positive, and supportive relationships throughout their lives.  Perhaps more importantly, I also believe that helping young women recognize and develop their strengths and talents now will help them grow to be strong, confident women that can face any challenge life brings."
